The government expands railway routes in the EU: which routes will appear in 2024.
According to inkorr.com: The government of Ukraine continues work on expanding European railway tracks. Vice Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba reported that the planned opening of new routes in Transcarpathia and Volyn will connect Ukraine with the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland.
'This creates the foundation for a full-fledged cargo corridor from Ukrainian industrial centers to European ports and markets. In total, 10 routes have been identified for implementation,' Kuleba emphasized.
Recently, a new segment of the European track Chop - Uzhhorod was opened, which will facilitate direct trips to Bratislava, Budapest, and Vienna. This, in turn, will strengthen the development of travel, education, work, and business in the region.
