Project for the Creation of Prosthetic Microclinics in Ukraine
Ukraine is launching a large project to create microclinics for prosthetics and rehabilitation after amputations, with a budget exceeding 4 million euros. This program is being implemented as part of grant agreements signed in April 2025 between Ukraine and France for a total of over 51 million euros, reports the Ministry of Health.Main Objectives of the Project
The main goal of the project is to improve the capabilities of the healthcare system in the field of rehabilitation after amputations. It involves the creation and equipping of prosthetic microclinics with modern equipment, as well as training specialists. The largest portion of funding is currently directed to Lviv, where a production center and prosthetic microclinic are being established.Technical Support
In Lviv, the installation of equipment is nearing completion, including 20 modern 3D printers and production machines, which will allow for the production of up to 600 prosthetics per month. This will contribute to the establishment of one of the largest prosthetic production centers in Europe.Future Plans
The project also includes the opening of microclinics in other regions of Ukraine, such as Poltava and Kyiv region.
