The deal was signed during a Ramstein-format meeting held in Brussels on June 18, where the United Kingdom also announced a new aid package for Ukraine.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius formalized the pact, which covers the development of anti-ballistic technologies, including interceptor missiles. As part of the initiative, thousands of ground-based 'Termite' robotic units will be manufactured in Germany, with the Federal Republic of Germany covering production costs.

The agreement was signed at a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in Brussels on June 18. During the same session, the Drone Deal initiative was unveiled, which has already attracted 27 participating countries: 15 NATO members and 12 non-NATO nations. “The Drone Deal initiative already involves 27 countries,” said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Additionally, the United Kingdom pledged a £752 million aid package for Ukraine, providing crucial support to strengthen the country's defense capabilities.
