Michail Albertovich Fedorov - Vice Prime Minister for Innovations, Development of Education, Science and Technology, Minister for Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Ukrainian IT entrepreneur, founder of a digital agency. Head of the digital direction of President Volodymyr Zelensky's presidential campaign in 2019.

Place of Birth. Education. Born on January 21, 1991 in Vasilyevka, Zaporozhye Region. Graduate of the Faculty of Sociology and Management of Zaporizhzhia State University.

Graduated from the Higher School of Politics, educational school of the NATO representative in Ukraine, OSCE fellow for environmental monitoring processes in Zaporizhzhia.

Career. In May 2013, Fedorov founded his own digital agency SMMSTUDIO in Zaporizhzhia. His company deals with increasing sales through advertising on social networks like Facebook and Instagram. One of the studio's clients was Quarter-Concert.

From September 2018 to December 2018, he held the position of Operations Director at the Superhumans project as part of his consulting work.

Speaker at IT-Forum 2016, iForum 2019, LVIV SMM FORUM. He taught the DIGITAL & SMM course on the FREE EDUCATIONAL PLATFORM.

Social Activities. During his studies, he started the largest youth movement 'Active-Z' in the city. In 2012-2013, while studying at the university, he was the 'student mayor' of Zaporizhzhia, where he implemented a number of social projects for the development of the city's youth.

Co-organizer of the social charity campaign 'I for you'.

Actively participated in conferences on environmental issues.

Implemented the project 'Strengthening IT potential of Zaporizhzhia' together with the USAID fund.

Political Career. 2014 - Candidate for the Ukrainian Parliament from the Party 5.10 in the parliamentary elections, No. 166 on the party list.

In December 2018, Michail Fedorov joined the electoral staff of presidential candidate Volodymyr Zelensky. He headed the digital department of ZeTeam.

In the early parliamentary elections of 2019, he was elected as a deputy of the Servant of the People party No. 6 on the party list.

Since May 21, 2019, he has been an advisor to the president (out-of-staff) for digital direction.

On August 29, 2019, parliament approved a new government structure appointing Michail Fedorov as Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Digital Transformation.

On March 4, 2020, parliament voted for the resignation of Oleksij Honcharuk as Prime Minister, resulting in the resignation of the entire government. That day, parliament approved a new government structure, reappointing Michail Fedorov as Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

On March 20, 2023, parliament voted for the resignation of Michail Fedorov from his position as Minister for Digital Transformation.

On March 21, 2023, parliament appointed Michail Fedorov as Minister for Digital Transformation and Vice Prime Minister for Innovations, Development of Education, Science, and Technology.

A few days after the large-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, Michail Fedorov appealed to Elon Musk requesting Starlink stations for Ukraine. Currently, more than 18,000 Starlink stations operate in Ukraine, providing critical infrastructure facilities, government agencies, etc. with stable internet connection.

Scandals. Participant in a journalistic investigation of the Our Bucks program with Denis Byhus. According to journalists, Fedorov received money for supporting internet resources of the team of Serhij Schefir not through the official accounts of Zelensky's campaign fund, but in cash at the office of ZeTeam. The budget for internet advertising in the second round alone amounted to almost 300,000 US dollars.

Awards. Michail Fedorov and the team responsible for the digital area in Zelensky's electoral staff won the annual Polaris Awards of the European Association of Political Consultants (EAPC) in seven categories.

Family. Married since 2015. His wife Anastassija is also from Zaporizhzhia and graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Language Philology at Zaporizhzhia State University. The couple has a daughter, Maria (born 2017).

Hobbies. Holds the first chess rank.
