According to Espreso.tv: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has reaffirmed Moscow’s determination to continue its military campaign in Ukraine until the conditions laid out by President Vladimir Putin in June 2024 are met. Lavrov emphasized that Putin had clearly defined the war’s objectives, which Russia remains committed to achieving. This statement comes amid ongoing international efforts to de-escalate the conflict.

Putin’s Demands

The terms presented by Putin call for Ukraine’s capitulation and full compliance with Kremlin ultimatums. These demands include:

• the complete withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from the Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions;
• international recognition of Crimea and these four regions as part of Russia;
• a ban on Ukraine joining NATO;
• the 'demilitarization' and 'denazification' of Ukraine.

Lavrov also stated that Moscow refuses to halt hostilities as a precondition for starting talks with Kyiv.

“Moscow no longer intends to trust Western guarantees,” Sergey Lavrov said.
