The main topic of discussion was cooperation in the field of food security.

Ukraine remains one of the key suppliers of agricultural products to countries in Africa, the Caribbean region, and the Pacific, contributing to stability in the global food market even during wartime.

Strengthening Global Food Security

During the meeting, joint initiatives to improve global food security and opportunities for expanding economic cooperation between Ukraine and the member countries of the Organization were discussed. They also touched on the transfer of technologies and knowledge in the agricultural sector to develop the agricultural potential of countries in the Southern Hemisphere.

Expanding cooperation with the Organization will open new markets for Ukrainian agricultural products, allow for the implementation of joint projects in the agricultural sector, and solidify Ukraine's position as a guarantor of global food stability.

Taras Vysotsky discussed partnership opportunities with the Organization of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States to enhance global food security and expand Ukrainian agricultural exports.

This meeting underscores the importance of international cooperation in the face of global challenges facing the agricultural sector. Strengthening economic ties with countries from different regions will help Ukraine not only increase export volumes but also contribute to global food security in light of current challenges.
