Ukraine failed to beat the Czech Republic in the Nations League.
On October 14, 2024, the Ukrainian national football team drew with the Czech Republic in a UEFA Nations League match (Group B). The game took place at Tarczyński Arena in Wroclaw, Poland. The match ended with a score of 1:1. The Czech Republic took the lead with a goal by Lukáš Červ on the 18th minute. However, Ukraine managed to equalize in the second half with a goal by Artem Dovbyk on the 51st minute.
This draw allowed the Czech Republic to remain in second position in the group, while Ukraine currently occupies the fourth place.
In a parallel match of our group, Albania narrowly defeated the team of Georgia 1-0.
During the match, national team player Oleksii Hutsuliak suffered a severe injury before the episode when the Czechs scored in the first half.
