Support for Ukraine's defense industry
According to inkorr.com: Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal emphasized the importance of supporting the domestic defense sector during a meeting regarding financing. He reported that effective financing mechanisms are being developed for arms manufacturers.
'We are taking the necessary steps for this. The focus of the meeting is on developing effective financing mechanisms for weapon manufacturers to fully fulfill state defense contracts.'
They also initiated the creation of a consortium of state banks that will provide financing to defense enterprises. The government is actively working on insuring military risks to attract private investments from Ukraine and abroad. After the meeting, a working group was formed to quickly develop proposals to improve financing procedures.
The defense complex of Ukraine plays a key role in the strategy of strengthening the state and executing defense contracts. The development of local military production is an important component in the state plans to build a modern and independent army.
Currently, supporting the domestic defense complex is becoming particularly relevant in the context of increased demand for security and the country's defense capability. Cooperation between the state and financial institutions can serve as a catalyst for the development of new technologies and improved production efficiency in the defense sector.
