DFRR has begun the selection of projects for funding

According to inkorr.com: The Ukrainian State Fund for Regional Development has announced the start of the selection of projects that can receive funding. This information was made public by the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development.

As of today, 205 projects worth over UAH 6.5 billion have been submitted in the DREAM system. Most of the funds are to be directed towards educational initiatives - UAH 2.2 billion, municipal infrastructure projects and services - UAH 1.8 billion, and health care - UAH 1.5 billion.

The priority areas for selection are public investment projects in the fields of municipal infrastructure and services, education, health care, civil protection, and public services.

Among the main requirements for projects are compliance with the State Strategy for Regional Development, the availability of current documentation, as well as co-financing of at least 10% from local budgets and other criteria.

To ensure a fair distribution of funding, 50% of DFRR funds are allocated for projects in frontline regions, 30% for central regions, and 20% for western regions.

The state budget for 2025 provides for UAH 1 billion for the implementation of projects funded by DFRR.

The Fund emphasizes the importance of funding projects in the fields of education, municipal infrastructure, and health care, aimed at the balanced development of the country.
