According to inkorr.com: Ukraine plans to increase the share of domestic weapons to 50%. Currently, Ukrainian military uses 40% of its own weapons and 60% foreign, including from the USA and European countries.
Prospects for weapon production
'Increasing the share of domestic weapons to 50% next year is quite realistic. This is possible in quantitative terms because we have underloaded production within the country, specifically regarding drones, electronic warfare systems, artillery systems, artillery shells, etc. So far, we do not have sufficient funding for this. Therefore, we discuss this with our partners, convincing them, and this is also one of the tasks at the inter-parliamentary level - to seek more funding for Ukraine for the next year'.
Assistance from Europe and air defense development
The people's deputy noted that several European countries have already expressed readiness to provide Ukraine with support next year. It is also important to develop air defense, which should include various complex systems.
Ukraine is actively working to increase its own weapons, understanding the necessity of reliable protection of its borders.
