Ukraine has collected over 28 million tons of grain: who leads among the regions.
Harvesting early grains in Ukraine
According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture reported that Ukraine has already harvested 28,370.6 thousand tons of early grains and legumes on an area of 6,887.6 thousand hectares. 61% of the territory sown with these crops has been threshed.
In particular, according to the agency:
Wheat – 21,858.2 thousand tons harvested from an area of 5,000.5 thousand hectares. Barley – 5,159.2 thousand tons harvested from an area of 1,343.0 thousand hectares. Peas – 585 thousand tons harvested from an area of 262.3 thousand hectares. Other grains and legumes – 746.4 thousand tons harvested from an area of 266.7 thousand hectares.
Regional production leaders
Among the regions that stand out in production:
Odesa region – 3,447.2 thousand tons from an area of 1,087 thousand hectares; Vinnytsia region – 2,385.8 thousand tons from an area of 423.7 thousand hectares; Khmelnytskyi region – 2,102.3 thousand tons from an area of 299.8 thousand hectares; Kirovohrad region – 2,206.0 thousand tons from an area of 534.1 thousand hectares. 3,193.3 thousand tons of rapeseed have already been harvested from an area of 1,273.5 thousand hectares. 10.4 thousand tons of soybeans have been harvested from an area of 7.29 thousand hectares. Sunflower – 13.2 thousand tons from an area of 15.4 thousand hectares.
The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture emphasizes that over 28 thousand tons of grains have already been harvested in Ukraine, which is an important achievement for the country's agricultural sector.
This data indicates the active progress of the harvest in Ukraine, which will undoubtedly improve food security and meet demand in domestic and foreign markets.
