Ukrainians using solid fuel in 2025: three types of state support.
Ukrainian citizens who heat their homes with solid fuel will be able to benefit from state support in 2025. According to explanations from the Pension Fund of Ukraine, they can receive housing subsidies, benefits, or one-time financial assistance from international partners.
Housing subsidy for solid fuel users
According to inkorr.com: The heating season opens up the opportunity to receive a housing subsidy for those who use solid fuel for heating their homes and do not have centralized heating, or use gas or electricity. Subsidies are granted once a year, provided that the appropriate application is submitted along with a declaration of income and expenses.
Benefits for certain categories of citizens
Benefits can be received by persons included in the Register of persons entitled to benefits and who use liquefied gas, as well as solid or liquid fuel. This form of support is also available once a year during the heating season.
One-time financial assistance
One of the most significant forms of support is one-time financial assistance for the purchase of solid fuel for heating. This assistance is provided by international donors in the amount of 19,400 hryvnias per household for the heating period.
Financial assistance is available only for residents of nine regions where hostilities took place. The list of regions eligible to receive these funds is determined by regional state administrations or military administrations.
Thus, Ukrainians who heat their homes with solid fuel will be able to benefit from state support in 2025 in the form of housing subsidies, benefits, or financial assistance. This, in turn, will help improve their living conditions and reduce financial burden during the cold season.
