Ukrainians were shown the seven rarest professions in the labor market: you have not even heard of them.


In 2024, the most popular professions among employers were working professions such as builder, plumber, electrician, locksmith, welder, seamstress, and other qualified specialists, reports the State Employment Service.
At the same Time, among the mysterious professions that are hard to find jobs in, there are truly unusual ones. The State Employment Service compiled a list of the top 7 rare professions in the labor market of Ukraine, which are even more unique among other extraordinary professions.
1. Yeast cultivation operator
Only 12 inquiries were made for this profession. The operator multiplies and feeds the yeast, as well as controls the conditions of their stay. He also selects and loads yeast for food production. This is a complex science that creates important ingredients for the food industry.
2. Piano and grand piano tuner
Throughout 2024, there were only 5 vacancies for this position. Instrument tuners must be very precise in their work, tuning pianos and grand pianos to the standard pitch. They must understand how all the parts of these instruments work and be able to rectify defects.
3. Halva maker
Only 4 vacancies were available for the year. This profession involves specialists preparing eastern desserts from nuts and sugar. They control the mixing process and the creation of the flaky and fibrous structure of halva. Precision is very important, as even the slightest changes are reflected in taste and texture.
4. Live model
There were also 4 such vacancies. Live models present themselves as 'living art'. They must have a pronounced physical build and be able to demonstrate various poses in clothing and nude. They must also remain motionless for several hours.
5. Prop maker
Only 3 vacancies were available for the year. Prop makers create replicas of objects for use in theater, film, and artistic studios. They artistically reproduce all the details of objects so that they look as realistic as possible.
6. Wig maker
In this profession, there were only 2 vacancies for the year. Wig makers create wigs, eyebrows, and other hair for theater, film, and the fashion industry. They can visually change a person's appearance.
7. Embryologist
Only one vacancy appeared in 2024. Embryologists work in reproductive medicine and help create new life.
