Ukraine Implements New Rules for Car Dealerships: What Will Change for Buyers.
Reform of New Car Sales in Ukraine
According to inkorr.com: Changes are being made in Ukraine regarding the rules for selling new cars. Now buyers will be able to obtain detailed information about the environmental characteristics and fuel consumption of each model.
In showrooms, alongside each model, there must now be posters or electronic displays with data on fuel type, official consumption rates, and CO2 emissions. The posters will be updated once every six months, and the electronic tables once every three months.
In addition, a government online directory has been launched, containing information on fuel consumption and emissions of all new car models on the market, as well as rankings of the most economical and environmentally friendly cars. This innovation will allow buyers to better evaluate their options before purchasing a vehicle.
Thanks to these changes, the automotive market in Ukraine is becoming more transparent and environmentally oriented, enabling consumers to make more informed choices when purchasing a car.
Thus, the new rules will not only improve buyer awareness but also may contribute to reducing the negative impact of cars on the environment. It is expected that over time this will promote the development of environmentally friendly transport in Ukraine.
