Assistance for vulnerable categories of the population
This initiative aims to ensure a comfortable winter for families in need of support, especially in frontline areas and among persons with disabilities. The program provides for monetary assistance or fuel briquettes for heating.
Organization representatives emphasized that with the onset of frosts, the issue of heating becomes critically important for many families living near combat zones. The program's goal is to help them get through the winter in comfortable and safe conditions despite the difficulties.
Number of program participants
A total of 800 families will receive support: 600 of them will receive financial assistance, and 200 – fuel briquettes. Assistance with delivery and unloading of fuel will also be organized for people with disabilities.
Citizens who have been evacuated can expect material assistance depending on their category. Vulnerable groups of the population may receive up to 6,500 hryvnias under the 'Warm Winter' program for 2025-2026, which is currently under consideration.
Thus, Ukrainians will have the opportunity to ensure themselves a warm winter thanks to this new initiative aimed at supporting the most vulnerable categories of the population.
The winter support program will be an important step in the fight against the cold for those who need it most. It will not only help provide warmth to families but also demonstrate the solidarity of society in difficult times.
