Ukraine launches new social assistance: millions will receive payments.
According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine has announced a new mechanism for providing financial assistance to vulnerable segments of the population thanks to international support, reports 'Khvylia'.
Transparency and Simplicity
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a resolution that creates a clear mechanism for cooperation with international and national organizations to provide additional financial support to socially vulnerable citizens. Thanks to this initiative, people will be able to receive assistance without the need for additional inquiries, and the calculation of the amount and method of payment will be carried out by international partners. Importantly, this assistance will not affect other social payments.
'The experience of previous years confirms the effectiveness of such cooperation: only in 2023-2025, with the support of international partners, over UAH 5.1 billion was attracted, providing additional support to more than 1 million citizens', - the ministry stated.
Algorithm of the New Assistance
There had been concerns about the potential risk that Ukrainians might be left without pensions. The new algorithm for financial support, developed by international partners, aims to simplify the process of receiving assistance for socially vulnerable citizens, allowing them to receive additional support without unnecessary efforts in difficult life circumstances.
This initiative is an important step in supporting social programs in Ukraine. Thanks to the new mechanism, Ukrainians will be able to receive financial assistance more quickly and easily in times of economic instability. Cooperation with international partners highlights the state's readiness to provide support to those who need it most.
