Ukrainians will receive 10800 hryvnias: who will get financial aid from the UN.
As reported by 'Hvylya', this is mentioned on the official UNHCR website.
Financial support for Ukrainians
According to inkorr.com: The United Nations has launched a financial aid program that will provide payments of 3600 hryvnias monthly for three months. This initiative is aimed at supporting internally displaced persons, individuals who have returned to Ukraine, as well as families affected by hostilities.
The total amount of financial support is 10800 hryvnias, which will be paid once every three months at a rate of 3600 hryvnias per month. Funds can be received on a bank card or through the Western Union system, depending on the recipient's preferences.
Criteria for receiving assistance
Payments can be claimed by individuals who were forced to relocate within Ukraine, returned from abroad due to the war, as well as internally displaced persons. To receive assistance, the family must meet certain criteria, among which are:
- presence of underage children, individuals over 55 years old, people with disabilities or those with serious health problems;
- absence of humanitarian aid for the past three months;
- ability to receive emergency payments for those affected by the war.
Documents for the application
To receive financial assistance, certain documents must be prepared, which can be submitted online or at the offices of the relevant agency. It is important to note that payments are not provided to individuals who already receive aid from other organizations, and the family's income will be verified.
Program purpose
The updated UN financial support program aims to assist vulnerable population categories suffering from the consequences of the war in Ukraine. Criteria for receiving payments take into account the needs and socio-economic conditions of families, and the assistance itself is intended to ease the financial burden and improve the living conditions of people who find themselves in difficult situations due to the conflict.
The program is another step in supporting those who have suffered the most from the war in Ukraine. The UN hopes that financial aid will allow many families to improve their situation and overcome the difficulties they face in these challenging times.
