Ukrainians will start receiving a new type of subsidy from January 2025: who will be affected.
According to a statement from the Press Service of the Ministry of Social Policy, starting next year, Ukrainians will have the opportunity to receive financial assistance for housing rental.
From the beginning of 2025, the state will begin providing financial support to internally displaced persons who spend more than 30% of their income or total family income on rent.
The program provides for partial compensation of rent, which will help reduce the financial burden on internally displaced persons. This applies to both individuals and families who meet the criteria.
It is important to note that landlords who rent their properties to internally displaced persons under a standard contract will also receive support from the state. They will receive partial compensation for taxes, including personal income tax and military levy, to their card account.
This is an important step in improving the living conditions of internally displaced persons in Ukraine.
