Ukrainians have sown 90% of winter crops: results of the agricultural season 2025.
According to inkorr.com: Ukrainian farmers, despite constant threats of shelling from the enemy, continue their work to ensure food security. In wartime conditions, they are actively sowing their fields.
As of November 4, Ukrainian farmers have sown 5,908.4 thousand hectares of winter crops, which is 90% of the forecasted areas. Among the sown crops, winter wheat, winter barley, and winter rye are the most popular.
The largest regions for sowing volumes are Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, and Mykolaiv regions. Some regions have already completed their planting campaign and are preparing for the next stage of agricultural cultivation.
New Grain Processing Enterprises
With the expansion of the grain processing industry and state support, agricultural producers are gaining new opportunities for development. This year has been successful for the launch of new grain processing enterprises, which will positively impact the market.
Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, 10 new grain processing enterprises have opened, and 88 flour milling enterprises have resumed operations. In 2025, 22 enterprises started their activities, marking another step towards the recovery of the industry.
According to statistical data, grain processing enterprises processed a significant volume of grains at the beginning of 2025, producing feed, flour, and cereals.
Thus, Ukrainian farmers continue their activities despite the threats, actively participating in the development of agriculture and ensuring food production, which is crucial for the country.
