Ukrainian agrarians have already sown nearly 4 million hectares: details of the record.
According to inkorr.com: Ukrainian agrarians are actively engaged in the sowing of winter crops: currently, nearly half of the projected area, amounting to 3,557.0 thousand hectares, has been sown. Winter cereal crops have been sown in all regions of the country.
According to data from the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture, the following have been sown:
- winter wheat - 2,346.8 thousand hectares;
- winter barley - 179.2 thousand hectares;
- winter rye - 45.7 thousand hectares.
Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, and Poltava regions stand out among the leaders in terms of the number of grain sowings. Winter rapeseed is primarily grown in Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, and Mykolaiv regions, where a total of 985.3 thousand hectares have been sown. The sowing of winter rapeseed is already completed in 13 regions.
