Ukrainians will be able to buy firewood online in 2026: official prices and conditions
According to Novyny.live: In 2026, Ukrainians will have the opportunity to purchase firewood for heating through a state online store or private suppliers. This innovation will simplify the process of buying firewood and provide access to clearly defined prices.
Firewood Prices
The state online store 'Drovaye' allows buyers to purchase up to 15 m³ of firewood. As of January 13, 2026, firewood prices are as follows:
- common pine — 755.33 UAH per 1 m³
- birch — 1,197.97 UAH per 1 m³
- oak — 1,197.97 UAH per 1 m³
- aspen — 816.24 UAH per 1 m³
- linden — 755.33 UAH per 1 m³
Prices may vary depending on the type of wood and the supplier.
The cost of wood from private companies can be significantly higher; for instance, the price for oak can reach 3,050 UAH per 1 m³. This reflects the difference in pricing between state and private suppliers, which should be considered when choosing a source for purchase.
The introduction of online firewood sales in 2026 reflects the trend towards digitization of state services in Ukraine. This may also become an important step in ensuring the energy independence of the population, especially given the rising heating costs. Convenient access to information about prices and the ability to compare suppliers can contribute to a more effective use of resources by the population.
