Ukrainians were warned: urgent evacuation is necessary.

The situation in the Myrnohrad district of the Donetsk region is very tense due to the approaching front line.
According to the deputy head of the Myrnohrad military administration, Tetyana Sytnyk, the city has closed two neighborhoods - "5/6" and "Western" - to entry due to increased danger. Residents can only leave these areas, which are already without power supply.
The local authorities, supported by the police and the State Emergency Service, continue evacuating families with children from dangerous zones. The evacuation is carried out in organized columns to ensure maximum safety. Despite the authorities' calls, some residents, especially from the remote neighborhood of "Novator," reluctantly agree to evacuation, hoping to wait out the fighting in basements.
As of August 20, there were 493 children remaining in Myrnohrad. Sytnyk noted that about 50 families leave daily, which is approximately 120 children. However, some parents continue to hide their children from evacuation, complicating the authorities' efforts.
The city authorities have also started evacuating institutions. The CNAP, the pension fund office, and banks have already ceased operations. Food stores will stop operating from August 26.
Since August 19, the curfew in Myrnohrad has been extended due to intensified fighting. It was reported that the front line is less than 5 kilometers from the city, and residents were warned that they have only "a few days" left for evacuation.
