Ukraine in the top 10 of the European Youth Festival: the team won 23 medals.
According to inkorr.com: Ukrainian yachtswoman Agnieszka Madonich won a medal at the international regatta in Italy in the 'Optimist' class. She took third place overall among juniors and became the best in her age group among women. Our country finished in 10th place in the overall medal count of the European Youth Olympic Festival, receiving 10 medals: 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze.
Achievements in Sports
Judo turned out to be the most successful sport for Ukraine at the festival, where six medals were won, including a bronze in the team tournament. Our athletes also received awards in swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, artistic gymnastics, and table tennis.
The Ukrainian team showed excellent results at international sailing competitions and other sports, winning a total of 23 medals. Ukrainian athletes demonstrated a high level of skill, placing among the best in their disciplines, which confirms their professionalism and talent.
Thus, the successes of Ukrainian athletes at the European Youth Olympic Festival and international regattas underscore the growing strength and development of sports in Ukraine. They inspire new generations of athletes to achieve and win in the future.
