Ukrainian Women Won Medals at the World Canoe and Kayak Championships.

Ukrainian canoeist Lyudmyla Babak won a gold medal at the World Canoe and Kayak Championships (marathon) in the Croatian city of Metković.

The victory came to the athlete in the single canoe competition over a long distance (15.4 km) with a time of 1:21:33.44. This was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

«Olena Tsygankova won the bronze with a time of 01:23:11.79. Joining the Ukrainians on the podium was Zsofia Kishban from Hungary (01:22:27.61)», – the report said.

The Ukrainian team already has 6 awards at the World Championships:

• 1 gold
• 3 silver
• 2 bronze

Recall that Ukrainian Olympians will receive payments for 4-6 places in Paris.
