Ukrainian Armed Forces abandon the paper army: digital accounting of personnel has been introduced.
According to inkorr.com: The Ukrainian army is actively moving away from the image of a 'paper army' thanks to a new digital personnel accounting system called 'Impulse'. This was reported by Ivan Lysak, Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of the 4th Recruitment Center of the Territorial Defense Forces, during an interview on Army TV.
Effectiveness of the new system
Previously, personnel accounting required daily completion of more than ten logbooks, which took a lot of time from servicemen. Thanks to the 'Impulse' system, this process has become significantly faster and more efficient.
'Personnel accounting is a huge amount of work that helps the serviceman to do his job without worrying about the next rank, salary, or how many days he has been on the front line. All of this is accounted for; it's a huge amount of paperwork.'
Creation of a unified database
The system will provide a centralized database in which all necessary documents will be automatically generated. Many military units are already implementing their programs to optimize accounting, but 'Impulse' will unite all these solutions into a single whole.
'There will be a large database where all information about the serviceman will be entered. And based on it, just with three clicks of the keyboard, a vacation ticket, a travel certificate, and so on, will be issued.'
The implementation of the 'Impulse' system will be an important step in the modernization of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, allowing for the optimization of personnel accounting and reducing the amount of paperwork. This will not only improve efficiency but will also free soldiers to perform their immediate duties during a difficult time.
