Ukrainian Flamіngo missile ready for serial production: comparison with Tomahawk.
Details about the 'Flamіngo' missile
According to inkorr.com: Denys Shtylerman, co-owner and chief designer of Fire Point, shared details about the 'Flamіngo' missile in an interview with Radio NV. He noted that the design of this missile resembles a drone, and its modular elements allow for the installation of different types of engines.
Shtylerman emphasized that the 'Flamіngo' missiles are equipped with old low-fuel-consumption engines, which enable them to conduct long flights. The combat load of these missiles is 1150 kg, and the maximum speed reaches 950 km/h.
In comparison with the American Tomahawk missile, the Ukrainian 'Flamіngo' shows similar power and speed indicators. The production of the missile has already been launched in serial volumes, creating new prospects for strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities.
The innovative 'Flamіngo' missile has the potential to become an important element of Ukrainian defense, considering its technical characteristics and capabilities. With the start of serial production, it can significantly impact the situation in the region and assist Ukraine in protecting its interests.
