Ukrainian tennis player Yulia Starodubtseva defeated Chinese player Gao Xinyu with a score of 2:1 in the US Open-2024 qualifying final. This is the second time Starodubtseva has tried to reach the main draw of the tournament. In 2023, she failed to achieve this goal, but in 2024 she managed to show a better result. In the previous rounds, she defeated Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva and reached the semi-finals with Chinese player Gao Xinyu, whom she had not played against before. Starodubtseva is a worthy representative of Ukrainian tennis and has every chance to showcase herself at the US Open-2024.
