Russia deploys missile carriers in the Black Sea - expert
Spokesman of the Ukrainian Navy, Dmytro Pletenchuk, explained that recently Russia more frequently deploys missile carriers in the Black Sea. According to him, this may be a rotation of enemy ships or a task to protect the base point.
Of course, the possibility of using enemy ships for shelling always exists, the expert notes. However, the occupiers have not used missile carriers separately for a long Time, but only during combined missile attacks. At the same time, Pletenchuk says there are currently no signs of preparing such an attack.
"It can be said that the situation in this regard remains stable," he noted.
The expert also noted that one of the reasons for the change in the situation in the Black Sea and the withdrawal of ships from the base point may be dispersion to protect against strikes.
"Most likely, the enemy expects a strike on the base point, so they are forced to withdraw ships into the Black Sea, where Ukrainian gifts await them," Pletenchuk said.
