According to inkorr.com: In the first half of 2025, Ukrainian refugees in the Czech Republic generated an income for the country's budget of over 15 billion crowns, which is 6 billion more than the government's expenses for their support. There are over 169 thousand Ukrainians in the Czech Republic who have temporary protection status, and the total number of refugees exceeds 393 thousand, among which 93 thousand are children and over 18 thousand are elderly people.

In recent years, the income generated from Ukrainian refugees in the Czech Republic has exceeded state expenditures for their support. In 2024, refugees earned 24.8 billion crowns, while 15.5 billion was spent on their assistance. However, not everyone in the Czech Republic approves of this situation.
