Ukrainian drones destroyed a warehouse with Iranian ballistic missiles in the Volgograd region.
Ukrainian defenders struck an enemy arsenal in Russia
On September 29, 2024, Ukrainian defenders successfully destroyed a warehouse of Iranian ballistic missiles and their launchers in the village of Kotluban, Volgograd region, Russia. This operation was carried out by special operations forces, GUR, and SBU.
According to the Telegram channel of the head of the CPD NSDC Andriy Kovalenko and other sources, a new batch of Iranian missiles had recently been delivered to this warehouse, which were intended to be used for shelling peaceful Ukrainian cities.
Several videos on social media show a large fire and explosions in the arsenal area. Regarding the Russian side's statements about the absence of casualties and damage to civilian and military objects, they contradict video evidence and eyewitness accounts.
It is worth noting that earlier, Ukraine had already successfully destroyed a large Russian ammunition depot using new shells.
