Applications for the grant program in agriculture

The State Agricultural Register (DAR) has started accepting applications for the third grant cycle under the program funded by the European Union and FAO. The application period will last until January 24, 2025.

Ukraine's Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Vitaliy Koval reported this. He noted that the program aims to support the Ukrainian agricultural sector and increase its competitiveness.

'Thank you to the FAO and the European Union for their support! It provides our farmers with the tools, knowledge, and resources necessary to overcome urgent challenges, modernize production, and build resilient and sustainable agri-food systems,' emphasized Vitaliy Koval.

Grants will be paid in hryvnias according to the UN exchange rate. The distribution of grants includes two categories:

  • up to 416,500 UAH (10,000 USD) for small agricultural producers;
  • up to 1,041,250 UAH (25,000 USD) for agricultural micro and small enterprises, agricultural cooperatives, and product producer associations with geographical indications (GI).

The third grant cycle also expands its geography. It covers certain districts of Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Chernivtsi regions.
