Ukrainian gymnasts reached the finals of the World Championship: where and when to watch.
According to inkorr.com: Two Ukrainian gymnasts - Nazar Chepurnyi and Vladyslav Gryko - qualified for the finals of the 2025 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships taking place in Jakarta. This was reported by 'Hlavkom'. Chepurnyi will compete in the vault final, while Gryko will compete in the all-around final.
Qualification Results
On the first day of qualification, six Ukrainian gymnasts competed: Nazar Chepurnyi, Bohdan Suprun, Vladyslav Gryko, Ihor Dyshuk, Dmytro Prudko, and Sviatoslav Shved. As a result, Nazar scored 14.316 points and qualified for the vault final, while Vladyslav, with a score of 75.932 points, made it to the all-around final. For Chepurnyi, this is already his third final at the World Championship in this discipline — he won a bronze medal in 2023, and placed seventh in 2021. It is Gryko's first time qualifying for the world championship final in his career.
Finals
The finals featuring Ukrainians will take place:
- October 22, 14:00 - All-around
- October 25, 09:30 - Vault
Additionally, it is worth noting that Ukraine ranked 10th in the overall medal tally of the European Youth Olympic Festival, winning 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals. This is the second most successful result for Ukraine in the history of participation in the festivals since 1993. The blue-yellow team won more medals only in 2019, when they collected 25 awards.
The most successful sport was judo, where Ukrainian athletes won six medals, including bronze in the mixed team tournament on the final day of the competition. Medals for Ukraine were also secured by representatives in swimming, athletics, taekwondo, shooting, artistic gymnastics, and table tennis.
