Ukrainian Forces Strike Multiple Russian Military Targets, Destroying Key Infrastructure.
Ukrainian Defense Forces Target Russian Military Installations
According to UATV: On February 1, 2023, Ukrainian forces conducted a series of strikes against Russian military targets, both within temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories and inside Russia itself. These coordinated attacks successfully destroyed several key pieces of military infrastructure. This escalation in long-range strikes demonstrates Ukraine's growing capability to disrupt Russian logistics and command deep behind the front lines.
Specific Targets and Outcomes of the Attacks
In the Zaporizhzhia region, near the settlement of Rozivka, Ukrainian troops hit a repair base belonging to a Russian engineering and sapper regiment. This strike was part of a broader operation designed to degrade Russia's military capacity in the area.
Furthermore, in the Donetsk region near the city of Myrnohrad, a command post for enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) was struck. Another UAV command post was hit within Russia, near the settlement of Nekislitsa in Kursk Oblast. In the Bryansk Oblast, near Troyebortnoye, a concentration of enemy personnel was successfully targeted.
These actions by Ukraine's Defense Forces are part of ongoing efforts to neutralize Russian military threats. Notably, these strikes on February 1st followed similar attacks on January 31st, indicating a sustained and intensified campaign of deep strikes. The increased tempo of these operations is a critical component of Ukraine's strategic plan to reduce Russia's military activity on occupied land and set conditions for future campaigns.
