The government approved new certification rules for customs officers: what awaits employees.
According to inkorr.com: The Government of Ukraine has adopted a new procedure for the certification of customs officers. As noted by the Ministry of Finance, this document is significant for ensuring the integrity and professionalism of customs workers.
Certification Procedure
According to the updated rules, customs officers will undergo certification only once to confirm their qualifications. The process will include testing knowledge of legislation, logic, as well as an interview regarding professional competence and integrity.
'Particular attention is paid to transparency and objectivity. All certification procedures will be recorded on video and audio, and the results will be published on the State Customs Service website,' the Ministry of Finance explained.
Possible Consequences
It is important to note that unsatisfactory certification results may lead to dismissal, allowing for a renewal of personnel and the removal of dishonest employees. Journalists and media representatives will also have the opportunity to participate in this process under certain conditions.
Changes for Improvement
The new certification procedure for customs officers was developed to enhance professionalism and integrity in the customs service, which should positively impact the operations of this sector in Ukraine.
By implementing these changes, the government aims to improve the activities of customs services and strengthen control over their work. Certification may become a new stage in the development of customs regulation in Ukraine, positively affecting the business environment and public trust in government institutions.
