Ukraine Launches Davos Hub to Secure Investment and Safety Guarantees.
Ukraine House Opens at Davos Forum
According to UATV: Ukraine has inaugurated a dedicated national pavilion, 'Ukraine House,' at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where it will operate until January 22. This platform is designed to showcase the country's investment potential and bolster international backing for its recovery. The initiative's significance was underscored by Ukrainian Minister of Economy, Alexey Sobolev, who addressed attendees at the opening ceremony.
Second Day of the Forum
The pavilion commenced its activities on January 20, which marked the second day of the forum. In his address, Minister Sobolev argued that
"a secure world is impossible without safety guarantees, holding the aggressor accountable, and the payment of reparations"- Alexey Sobolev. He also called on the international business community to invest in Ukraine, emphasizing the critical importance of economic support for the nation amid ongoing challenges. This appeal comes as Ukraine seeks to rebuild its economy while continuing to defend itself against Russian aggression.
The Ukraine House is intended to serve as a key venue for attracting investment and strengthening international ties, a priority given the current geopolitical climate. The launch of this platform represents a significant step toward developing Ukraine's economy and enhancing its appeal to foreign investors.
This initiative reflects Ukraine's drive to attract more foreign capital, which is crucial for the nation's post-war recovery and economic development. The World Economic Forum provides a unique global stage for Ukraine to present its opportunities and deepen cooperation with international partners.
