Combatants can receive free housing: who is eligible and how to apply.
According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Veterans Affairs has announced that combatants can receive a free apartment or monetary compensation. To do so, they must meet certain criteria, gather the necessary documents, and register for housing assistance.
What area is entitled to combatants
According to regulations, each combatant is entitled to 13.65 square meters of residential area. Additionally, a certain number of square meters is provided for each child and spouse in the family.
Process of obtaining housing
Combatants must first register as individuals in need of housing to take advantage of state programs. They also need to have grounds for registration. For this, they should submit documents to the appropriate authorities.
Receiving housing or compensation
After registration, the queue for receiving housing or compensation is determined. If there is no available housing in the fund, combatants receive financial compensation to independently acquire housing.
When there are no available apartments in the local fund, the veteran is credited with an amount that they can use to independently purchase housing in their region. This provides more freedom, especially for military personnel who want to settle closer to their place of service or family.
