Ukraine is Expecting Evening Power Outages: What is the Reason.
According to inkorr.com: In Ukraine, the energy system is under significant strain due to hostile attacks and increased demand for electricity. This is reported by the operator 'Ukrenergo'.
Increase in Load
According to the company, the morning load on the power grid was 6.8% higher compared to Friday, October 31. Experts explain this increase by higher electricity consumption at the beginning of the week, as well as the absence of restrictions the day before.
'It is necessary to limit the use of powerful electrical appliances, especially from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, to save energy,' the 'Ukrenergo' urges.
Situation in Regions
Despite successful emergency recovery works, some regions of Ukraine still remain without electricity supply. The most difficult situation is observed in Donetsk, where energy workers are working under fire, trying to restore power grids.
Hourly outage schedules are currently suspended across the country, but their resumption in the evening from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM is possible. Citizens are urged to stay informed about news from local energy companies.
Thus, the Ukrainian energy system is facing increased loads due to rising consumption and hostile actions. The government and energy workers have to take measures to maintain the stability of electricity supply, considering shelling and unforeseen situations. Citizens are asked to exercise caution and keep an eye on messages from energy companies.
