An anticyclone covered Ukraine: the forecaster warned of severe frosts up to -17.
This weekend, February 22 and 23, dry weather is expected in Ukraine due to the anticyclone situated over the country. This was reported by forecaster Natalka Didenko.

The only exception will be the eastern part of Ukraine, where snow will occur on Sunday, February 23, due to a cyclone from the east.
During the night, the air temperature will remain around -10...-17 degrees. During the day on Saturday and Sunday, most regions are expected to be -2...-7 degrees, however, it will be warmer in the west - from 1 degree of frost to 5 degrees of heat.
In Kyiv, no precipitation is expected on February 22 and 23. At night the temperature will be -12...-14 degrees, and during the day -2...-4 degrees. According to Didenko's forecasts, from February 25, there will be a weakening of frosts and an increase in air temperature in Ukraine.
Previously, the police named seven places on the road where winter traffic accidents most often occur.
