Canada announced new sanctions against Russia and allocated a record military aid package to Ukraine.

At the recent G7 summit, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney expressed his support for Ukraine and the imposition of new sanctions against Russia. Ottawa announced restrictive measures against more than 40 organizations in Russia and beyond, as well as against over 200 vessels of the 'shadow fleet'.
