Cyclone hits Ukraine: heavy rains and gusts from October 7

According to inkorr.com: The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has reported difficult weather conditions at the beginning of the week. From October 7 to 9, a strong wave of precipitation is expected in most regions of the country due to an active southern cyclone.

Situation in Odesa region

A particularly difficult situation is forecasted in Odesa, where precipitation of 45 to 80 millimeters is possible. This may cause difficulties for businesses and complicate transport operations.

Temperature and wind

During this period, cool weather is expected: air temperature will fluctuate from 3 to 13 degrees at night and from 11 to 16 degrees during the day. The wind will blow from the eastern and northeastern directions at a speed of 5-10 meters per second, with gusts possible up to 15-20 meters per second at night and in the morning.

Weather in Kyiv region

The Kyiv region is also forecasted to have cloudy weather with fog. The temperature at night will be 4-9 degrees Celsius, and during the day - 11-16 degrees. From October 8, rains will begin here, providing moderate warmth during the day and helping to avoid cooling at night. The maximum daytime temperature will remain within 11-16 degrees.

The Hydrometeorological Center warns of upcoming unfavorable weather during the Indian summer.

According to information from the hydrometeorological center, the beginning of the week promises deteriorating weather conditions across Ukraine due to an active southern cyclone. Precipitation, cool weather, and gusty winds are expected, which may cause problems in several areas of activity. The largest amount of precipitation is forecasted for the Odesa region, so residents of this area are advised to be particularly cautious.

These weather conditions may affect agriculture and transport, so it is important to keep track of current forecasts. Hydrometeorologists recommend exercising caution when outdoors during the stormy days and planning activities according to changes in the weather.
