Ukrenergo introduces 16-hour power outages: details of the schedule.
According to inkorr.com: The company Ukrenergo announced planned restrictions on electricity supply for October 23. The electricity transmission system operator shared a schedule of outages that covers most regions of Ukraine.
According to Ukrenergo, from 07:00 to 23:00 in most regions of the country, measures to limit consumption will be implemented, leading to power outages for 16 hours.
Hourly outage schedules will be introduced for residential consumers in three shifts simultaneously. Industrial consumers will operate according to power limitation schedules. For detailed information on outage times for specific addresses, it is recommended to contact the official pages of the regional energy companies.
The transmission system operator warned that if the situation changes, additional information will be provided and urged Ukrainians to use electricity sparingly.
Attacks on the energy system and previous outages
Let us remind you that on October 22, after another attack on the energy system, Ukrenergo introduced hourly outage schedules in all regions of the country instead of emergency measures. The balance of electricity supply could not withstand, and a significant number of residents in Kyiv were left without electricity. This was reported by the CEO of Yasno, Serhiy Kovalenko. The Dnipropetrovsk region was the first to implement stabilization outages at 13:30, after which at 16:00 Kyiv also joined the outages. In addition to outages for residents, energy workers began limiting electricity consumption for industrial enterprises, using limitation schedules in three shifts simultaneously.
Ukrenergo emphasizes the importance of adhering to outage schedules and urges to use electricity economically to avoid inconveniences.
These restrictions on electricity supply, caused by the unstable situation in the energy system, underscore the need for energy conservation and responsible resource use. Such measures are being taken in conditions when the country's energy infrastructure is under pressure due to numerous attacks and damages.
