'Ukrenergo' revealed a new power outage schedule: three stages per day.
Power outages in Ukraine due to missile attacks
'Ukrenergo' announced a power outage schedule for November 21. This restriction affects Kyiv and several regions.
According to 'Ukrenergo' on Telegram, outages will take place throughout the day. From 7:00 to 11:00 there will be the first stage, from 11:00 to 19:00 - two stages, and from 19:00 to 22:00 - another stage.
The reason for the restrictions - missile attacks
A massive missile and drone attack that occurred on November 17 damaged energy facilities. Emergency recovery work is currently underway.
According to the company, electricity consumption is rising. At 5:00 AM on November 20, it was 1.6% higher than the previous day. This is related to the gradual restoration of power supply to consumers in Odesa region.
Power deficit and electricity imports
'Ukrenergo' reports that the energy system of Ukraine is gradually recovering, but there is still a significant power deficit due to massive attacks. At the same time, the country is importing electricity from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, and Moldova with a total volume of 7,914 MWh, with a maximum capacity of up to 837 MW in certain hours.
