Ukrenergo increases outages to 14 hours: what is happening in the power system.
According to inkorr.com: The company Ukrenergo has announced an increase in electricity supply restrictions, which will now last from 11 to 14 hours daily. This decision has been made due to the difficult situation in the power system. Outage schedules will be implemented for the entire period with a volume of 0.5 to 1.5 queues.
According to information from Ukrenergo, these restrictions are caused by missile and drone attacks on the power system, which have led to significant damage in the Odesa region. The operator appeals to consumers to be cautious and use electricity sparingly. Currently, the water level at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant remains sufficiently high to ensure the normal operation of the station.
Summary
The situation in the Ukrainian energy system is becoming increasingly critical due to missile attacks and damage to infrastructure in the Odesa region. It is important to use electricity sparingly and be prepared for possible supply restrictions.
