The Ukrainian railway has announced that long-distance trains will now offer hot meals. This has become one of the most anticipated updates in the company's service.
Food quality testing will be conducted on the longest routes:
№351/352 Kyiv — Chișinău №95/96 Kyiv — Rakhiv №29/30 Kyiv — Uzhhorod №4/3 Zaporizhzhia — Uzhhorod
The menu was developed by Ukrainian chef Yevhen Klopotenko.
Dishes were prepared and frozen using an innovative method that ensures product freshness and preserves taste after reheating.
Conductors of the specified trains will offer the following dishes:
- Carpathian deruny;
- Omelet made from Zhytomyr eggs;
- Chicken with Podilian potatoes and vegetables;
- Crimean Tatar pilaf with beef - a favorite choice of passengers.
The cost of the dishes will vary from 170 to 190 hryvnias.
