According to The Sun: The brand Fortnum & Mason, which has over 300 years of history, has opened its first store outside London in Bicester Village.

This iconic store offers luxury brands - from delicacies to home goods.

Founded in 1707, Fortnum & Mason is known for traditional British shopping.

It was founded by William Fortnum, footman to Queen Anne.

Initially, the store sold discarded candles from St. James's Palace with the monarch's consent.

Since then, the famous location on Piccadilly has become popular for its delicacies, luxury goods, teas, Scotch eggs, chocolate candies, and food baskets.

The new Fortnum's store will be part of a network of over 150 luxury boutiques in a designer shopping center in Bicester.

In an official statement, Fortnum's confirmed that "the rumors turned out to be true".

“Fortnum's direction from Piccadilly, London, to Bicester Village in October,” said a representative.

Known worldwide for its food and beverages, Fortnum & Mason holds two royal warrants.

The new boutique is designed as a modern interpretation of the iconic flagship store in London.

Luxurious experience

The interior of the new store will feature the company's signature color - Eau de Nil, which will adorn the walls.

Like the original store, a large chandelier will take center stage.

Shoppers can take advantage of two walnut service counters where staff in red jackets will offer tastings.

Of course, the most famous products of the brand will be presented, such as Fortnum's royal tea and Fortnum's sparkling tea.

For those looking for the perfect holiday gift, a selection of Fortnum's baskets has been prepared.

And right outside, Fortnum's will launch the world's first Fortnum & Mason On the Go.

This guest kiosk will offer a range of sweet and savory toasty croissants and hot drinks.

Desiree Bollier, Chairman and Global Director of Sales Value Retail Management at Bicester Collection, commented on the store opening.

“We are delighted to welcome Fortnum & Mason to Bicester Village,” she said.

“Known for its ability to turn everyday moments into celebrations, Fortnum's perfectly complements our curated mix of fashion and food.”

She also referred to the brand as “an icon of British luxury,” noting that its appearance adds “a unique new dimension to experiences in the village.”

The new store in Bicester Village will operate seven days a week.
