Reducing Food Costs
According to The Sun: The Chancellor plans to reduce high food costs in the budget, as prices for basic food items have soared over the past year. Despite inflation remaining at 3.8 percent, prices for items such as beef and milk have significantly increased.
“Our goal is to support citizens amid rising food prices,” the Chancellor noted.
Food price growth has slightly decreased for the first time since March, raising hopes for positive changes in this area.
This initiative by the Chancellor aims to ease the financial burden on consumers during a challenging economic period. Given global challenges such as climate change and supply chain disruptions, the government's actions may contribute to stabilizing food prices and supporting the population.
