According to SunSport, the German club decided to change coaches without reaching three matches in the season, and considers Glasner as the ideal option for this role.

Glasner is reportedly dissatisfied with the situation at Crystal Palace, especially after losing a key player – Eberechi Eze, who moved to another club just before the transfer window closed.
He is negotiating with the club's management, trying to block the transfer of defender Marc Guéhi, who is also close to a move to Liverpool.
According to SunSport, Leverkusen plans to recruit Glasner, considering his refusal to sign a new contract with Crystal Palace, as there is only one year left on the current deal.
Sources close to Glasner say that he had hoped for better results in the transfer window, as he helped the club qualify for Europe last season by winning the FA Cup.
Successes of Crystal Palace
Under Glasner's management, Crystal Palace shows positive results, maintaining an unbeaten streak at the start of the season, despite having already faced strong opponents such as Chelsea and Aston Villa.
The team also won the Community Shield, defeating Liverpool after trailing twice, and won in a penalty shootout.
Before moving to Crystal Palace, Glasner secured victory in the Europa League with Eintracht.

Now it remains to be seen whether he will accept a new offer from Leverkusen if it arises.
