Russian air strike on the Shostka community of the Sumy region
On the night of October 19, Russians carried out an air strike on the Shostka community of the Sumy region, using KABs and "Shaheds." Seven people were injured as a result. This was reported by the Sumy RMA.
"Three 'Shaheds' were destroyed by air defense systems. As a result of the enemy attack, seven people were injured. Energy facilities and infrastructure were damaged. Consequently, several settlements in the Shostka district were left without power," the message reads.
The Sumy RMA noted that all necessary services are working at the places of impact. A headquarters was deployed to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attack. Partial restoration of electricity is underway, work continues.
Drone attack in Kyiv
Recall that on the night of October 19, Russia attacked Kyiv with drones. As a result, the Darnytskyi district of the capital was affected.
The Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, also reported the injury of a woman in one of the city's districts due to fragments of a UAV. "In the Darnytskyi district of the capital, during the enemy attack, a woman was injured. She was hospitalized and is undergoing surgery. A small fragment of a UAV entered the woman's residence through the balcony window," Klitschko said.
