The government has allowed blocking spam calls: how it will work.
According to inkorr.com: Mobile operators in Ukraine have received new capabilities to block numbers that make mass advertising calls without the consent of subscribers. This was approved by a government initiative led by the First Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
With the new rules, operators can combat spam starting from October 2. Now Ukrainians can join in identifying and blocking intrusive calls.
“We are finally launching a mechanism that allows us to effectively counteract intrusive calls. Thousands of spam numbers have already been blocked,”Fedorov noted.
Spam calls are advertising calls that are made without the users' consent for the purpose of promoting goods or services.
