The government will check churches for propaganda of the 'Russian world'.

The government of Ukraine has approved the official procedure for conducting inspections of religious organizations to identify propaganda of the 'Russian world' ideology. In particular, the government issued resolution No. 541, which details the procedure for such inspections, reports the publication 'Glavcom'.

Inspections are planned to be carried out by the Ukrainian Service for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience, other state bodies, as well as citizens and legal entities upon requests. In case of identifying instances of propaganda, it will be documented in a conclusion approved by the order of the State Ethnopolitics. If no violations are found, the case will be closed.

If multiple instances of propaganda are established, this will be recorded in the conclusion approved by the order of the State Ethnopolitics. If there are no such instances, the case is closed.

Signs of propaganda of the 'Russian world' ideology include several points, such as justifying the war as a sacred confrontation against Western ideas, denying Ukrainian statehood, and justifying Russian imperialism.

• Presenting the so-called 'special military operation' as a 'holy war'.
• Denial of the existence of the Ukrainian nation and statehood.
• Spreading the idea of the crimes of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine and others.

Using the corresponding ideas for scientific and educational purposes is not considered propaganda, as long as such actions do not aim at spreading or supporting the corresponding ideas.

Conducting inspections of religious organizations is becoming extremely important in connection with modern geopolitical events. These measures aim to prevent any interference in Ukraine's internal affairs by external forces.
